Professor Dr. Roy Rillera Marzo is the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Health Sciences with over 15 years of research experience in communicable and non-communicable diseases. Dr. Roy has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and serves on several editorial boards related to public health and epidemiology. His investigation into global adult vaccine hesitancy earned the “Award-Winning Research of 2022,” marking a significant contribution to the field. Furthermore, his global survey on COVID-19 vaccine perceptions stood out as among the top 1% of viewed papers in a prestigious journal, highlighting its critical impact. Dr. Roy’s scholarly output includes 30 articles featured in the World Health Organization Research Database, underscoring his key role in shaping global public health policies and interventions.

Noraisikin’s insatiable curiosity about life fuels her desire and hope to travel the globe, one step at a time. Dr Low Wai Wah is the full-time lecturer at Curtin University Malaysia. She has 10 years teaching experience in the academic field. She holds Bachelor Degree of Quantity Surveying (Honours) from University of Malaya in 2006. Thereafter, she pursued her Master Degree of Science (Building) in project management area at the same university and completed it in 2008. She completed her Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at University of Malaya in 2015, specializing in project and construction management. In the early stage of her research journey, she focused on procurement method and quality management in the construction industry. Thereafter, her research interest expanded to construction management, knowledge management, organizational culture and international construction during her postgraduate period. During her academic career at Curtin University Malaysia, she aware the importance of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. She started to get involved in it with colleagues from diverse disciplines. She also collaborated with other colleagues in the Learning and Teaching area. Recently, she is involving in the smart rural, digital construction and well-being of construction professionals. She will continue to explore latest research area that allows her to collaborate and learn from other researchers with diverse interests. She received “Best Reviewer Recognition” by International Journal of Construction Management in 2021 and “Best technical paper award” from International Conference on Durability of Building and Infrastructures (DuraBI) 2018.

Dhanashree Giri Amatya is a Ph.D. with interdisciplinary focus and interests in media along with disaster risk reduction. She completed her Doctoral from Amity University located in India and Masters from Indraprastha University based in New Delhi. As a part of her interest in environment, she is also involved with a not for profit organisation “The Hive Initiative” based in Oslo, where she is helping deliberate strategies in sensitizing organisations to be sustainable and environmentally conscious. Apart from her interests in academics, she has also been an International Tennis Official with International Tennis Federation. She has had the opportunity to be the designated official of some of the best tennis tournaments across the globe – Wimbledon, Roland Garros (French Open), Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, Qatar Open, Dubai Open to name a few. She loves travelling and exploring new cities and cultures that she can surely qualify to be called a “globe trotter”.

PhD in Visual Arts from the University of São Paulo and a Master’s Degree in Visual Culture Studies from the University of Barcelona, he has published articles, photobooks and exhibited his artwork in countries such as Spain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Brazil, and Chile. Dr. Ngu has more than ten years of teaching experience with Curtin Malaysia. Before this, she worked as a journalist in The Star Publications, news stringer for Malaysiakini, and occasionally contributed articles to regional Chinese newspaper United Daily, Miri. She obtained her Master of Communication from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Doctor of Philosophy from Curtin University Australia. She was a recipient of Curtin Offshore Partner Research Scholarship and won the Curtin Malaysia Excellence in Teaching Award Year of 2021. Her research interests include activism, media literacy, and communicative ecology studies. She is also interested in media consumption and digital literacy, particularly in Borneo.

Fascinated by the power of oral history, Terry’s interests lie in preserving the narratives of diverse communities. Now pursuing doctoral studies, Terry delves deeper into the intersection of oral history, politics, and societal change. Praveena Munianday is currently engaged in doctoral studies in project management at the School of Housing, Building, and Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the same institution. Her research interests revolve around project management methodologies, digitalization within the construction sector, and the integration of innovative technologies in construction practices. Praveena Munianday’s publication history reflects a range of scholarly contributions, primarily within the domains of construction management and building information modeling (BIM). Her research endeavours encompass a spectrum of topics, ranging from the optimization of organizational BIM capabilities to the examination of barriers hindering its implementation in the Malaysian construction landscape. Among her papers of interest are an examination of the effectiveness of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in improving project performance, as well as a detailed study of mental health awareness in the construction industry.

Josfirin Uding Anak Rangga is an Associate Lecturer of Health, Safety, and Environment in the Department of Health Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Health Sciences at Curtin University Malaysia. He is currently conducting a research project titled “Exposure to traffic-related air pollution, noise, and urban heat in a selected urban city in Malaysia.” The findings of this research project are expected to contribute to Malaysia’s urban planning and policy interventions.
